    5 Tips to Make Your Paper Easier to Read

    It is very difficult for readers to write interesting and exciting scientific papers that go beyond merely conveying scientific achievements. Some people write without difficulty, but for most people this can be a daunting task.

    Before publishing a dissertation, you must first engage journal editors and reviewers. When papers are published, as the number of citations becomes more important in career development, more and more people need to read their papers. I wrote a dissertation for the first time in graduate school, but I was too nervous to write, so I put off writing as much as possible. I felt that other scientific communication was more fun than writing. Of course, I knew I had to write one day to get my degree.     1. Summarize your thoughts:

Organizing your thoughts is the first step to writing a concise and clear paper. Make sure you understand the hypotheses and the purpose of your research, and organize the background in which the purpose was set. Details and logical considerations of the study will follow. In addition, you can write more comprehensible sentences by grasping the potential readers of the paper and writing the paper to meet the intended audience.

    2. The first page is eye-catching: 

    titles and abstracts are the first things readers see. This section is the only part that will be released free of charge, regardless of whether it is an open access or paid magazine. Therefore, titles and abstracts must be concise, interesting, and a good summary of the entire article. Set effective keywords so that you can find your article among countless articles. However, please follow the guidelines of the target journal. Many journals have word limits, and some use abbreviations. Some journals also specify that the abstract be written with subtitles such as "Background and purpose", "Method", "Results", and "Conclusions". Although abstract, writing in this style will be a good exercise.

    3. Explain: 

    Start by explaining why you did your research and explaining the main issues or goals of your research. Let us also briefly describe the novelty of the research. Next, I will explain the research method including basic research design and main methodologies. We will then describe the key findings revealed by this method, and finally, explain the impact and benefits that this study will have on the discipline and readers. The abstract should contain all the relevant information you want to convey as well as being simple and concise.

    4. Check your dissertation from a third-party perspective: 

    When writing a dissertation, remember that readers are not as familiar with the research as you are. Therefore, state the information you want to convey accurately and concisely, without repetition or extension. Keep the sentences simple but impressive. Avoid using jargon and jargon, as well as discriminatory or overly jargon.

    5. Include only the data needed to tell a complete story: 

    A dissertation tells a complete story. Think first about what story you want to tell, and make sure that the story includes all the relevant data you need. If you're a graduate student, you've done a lot more experiments than the data needed for the story. But you don't have to include all the data. Include only what you need to tell the story.
